10 Cricket Records That Will Never Be Broken

Cricket game always poses challenges for the players and the teams. There are some of the invincible records which are hard to catch for the other players. One player sets a target which could be a challenge for the other player. The cricketers are always making some of the records for the game, which are always appreciated and cherished by the fans and the teams.

Some cricketers get preferable and most popular because of the records which they make! They intend to make something historic! So that they could be remembered by the game which they have shown.

SOME OF THE BEST RECORDS IN CRICKET!

19 WICKETS TAKEN IN A TEST MATCH!

This is a wonderfully astound thing to be seen in a test match. People do not expect this in a test match, that 19 wickets could be taken. The skilled player Jim Laker managed to pick up 19 wickets against the team of Australia in the year 1956. He is a proficient bowler who bowled approximately 68 overs in that game by only having 90 runs. So many years have been passed, but still, no one has been able to break this record by any chance possible. No one is not even near to this one. Also, in 2018, the very skilled player Yasir Shah was able to pick some 14 wickets, which is also a huge thing to do, but the record of 1956 is still not broken!

MAIDEN T20 SUPER OVER

we all know that to have a dot ball is also very challenging in the game and then having a maiden super over is a massive thing to be seen. The very famous bowler of the team of West Indies, Sunil Narine, was the first player who made his chance to play the maiden super over. In 2014, both the Red Steel and the Amazon Warriors ended at a somewhat same score which was 118/8 and 118/9, respectively, in 20 overs. It was the Caribbean Premier League held, and this score was seen and then there was a time of maiden super over. These things are seen very rarely and create history, and it’s a blue moon thing that happened in 2014.

200 TEST MATCHES

Many people believe that the test matches are the best format for the cricket game to have happened. Nothing can beat the excitement of the test matches, be it the Indian Premier league or Ranji Trophy, but the test matches pose a different enthusiasm in the fans. When anyone talks about the test matches, no one can forget the record of the legendary player, Sachin Tendulkar, who played 200 test matches when he was only 24 years old and starting his career. After that momentous record of Sachin Tendulkar, there is Ricky Ponting, who played somewhere about 168 test matches, but some records cannot be broken!

It is very evident now, and we can see how enormous Sachin Tendulkar made a record.

1347 INTERNATIONAL WICKETS TAKEN

This is an incredible record made by the famous player of team Sri Lanka. Muttiah Muralitharan managed to pick some 800 wickets in 133 tests, 534 wickets in the 350 ODI’S, and 13 wickets in 12 T20s. And all over in total, if we see it, there are around 1347 international wickets taken by the player. This is something colossal! We do not see something like this now. These are some records that cannot be broken and have been just made!

199 CENTURIES MADE IN FIRST-CLASS CRICKET

We all know our legend, famous for making the maximum number of centuries, Sachin Tendulkar. Still, if we talk about first-class cricket, it is the player who has made the highest number of centuries possible. He is SIR JACK HOBBS. He is an international player and has set up the target for first-class cricket matches. This record is something that is not being broken to date.

THREE DOUBLE CENTURIES IN ODI MATCH

One of the most favourite players from the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, has made the unbeatable and a historic record of three double centuries! It is impossible to be made in the ODI match, and no one has ever seen it again. We have not witnessed any moment like this again.

WORLD CUP HATTRICK WINS

The Australian team has established their world-famous record for winning three world cups in a row. Teams win one world cup and celebrate it for a long time, and this team has won the award for three consecutive years, and that is something commendable. They have won it in the years 1999, 2003 and then in the year 2007. It isn’t easy to even make your space in the finalist position of the world cup, but the Australian team has managed to win the title 3 times.

CAPTAINCY AT 50

There is only one player who has his record for having the captaincy at even 50. This thing is not done normally, and captains tend to resign at this age, but DR. William Gilbert Grace also served the captaincy at the age of 50.

CONCLUSION

like these records, the cricketers have made many massive records that are commendable. There are many proud moments which are experienced by the players as well as teams. They need to be talked about so that we can celebrate their victory on a huge level!
